Who we are:
Melbourne Math Tutoring is a new tutoring business based in Melbourne, Australia. Aiming to provide a solid foundation to students as they move into their mathematics learning in 2023. All tutors have undertaken Mathematical Methods during their VCE studies, and have continued to study various mathematical units to a high-level during their university studies.
How we operate:
Here at Melbourne Math Tutoring, we focus on running 1-hour grouped tutoring sessions, where each week our tutors aim to educate and consolidate students’ understandings of topics they will study in the year ahead. The first session of each week is theory-based with worked examples, with the second session being more advanced examples to solidify the content learned. Who can participate:
Melbourne Math Tutoring is aimed at all year levels. Weekly sessions will be aimed to run for all year levels; from prep level mathematics through to Mathematical Methods level for VCE students.
Pricing & Commitment:
Melbourne Math Tutoring offers very competitive pricing, starting at $10 per hourly session, with each week having two sessions. Payments are made monthly ($80 per month), totaling 8 sessions of targeted and in-depth learning, aimed to prepare students for the year ahead.
